Hey F-150 owners, if you're seeing the P1299 code, it’s probably freaking you out a bit. This code is triggered when your Ford's engine gets too hot, specifically the cylinder head. Basically, your car is trying to protect itself from overheating, which could be caused by various things like a cooling system failure or just driving under heavy load for a long time.

Common Causes:

1. Low Coolant Level: If your coolant is low, the engine won’t be able to maintain a safe temperature. Check for leaks around the radiator, hoses, and water pump.
   
2. Thermostat Issues: A stuck-closed thermostat can prevent coolant from flowing through the engine, leading to overheating.
   
3. Faulty Temperature Sensor: Sometimes, the sensor itself is faulty, sending wrong signals to the computer.
   

1. Check Coolant Level: Pop the hood and check your coolant reservoir. If it’s low, fill it up and see if the code clears. If it does, you might have a slow leak that needs attention.
   
2. Inspect the Thermostat: If you suspect the thermostat, pull it out and check if it’s stuck closed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
   
3. Test the Cooling Fan: Make sure your cooling fan kicks in when the engine gets hot. If it doesn’t, the fan motor or relay might be faulty.

3. Fuel Delivery Issues: The fuel injector in that cylinder could be clogged or failing, leading to an imbalance in the air-fuel ratio.
   

1. Inspect and Replace O2 Sensor: If the sensor is old or dirty, replace it. Make sure to use a Ford-compatible part to avoid further issues.
   
2. Check for Vacuum Leaks: Spray some carb cleaner around the intake manifold and hoses—if the idle changes, you’ve found your leak.

Okay, so my 2017 Ford Fusion just popped up with a P1450 code. It’s saying it can’t bleed fuel tank pressure?  The car runs fine, but the "Check Engine" light is on, and it’s driving me crazy. Hey guys, I’ve got a 2008 Ford F-150 and I’m getting a C1185 code. From what I’ve read, it’s related to the ABS power relay. My ABS light has been on for a few days, and I’m not sure what’s causing it. Could it just be a faulty relay, or is it more serious? I checked the fuses, and everything seems fine. So I’ve got a 2015 F-150 and this P2019 code just showed up on my scanner—something about an intake manifold runner control stuck closed?
