Seems like a dumb question, but I can’t figure out the right direction for the air filter on my Fusion. I don’t wanna mess it up. Does it even matter? Anybody know off the top of their head?

Why does my Ford Fusion shake at high speeds? |

So, my Fusion starts shaking like crazy whenever I hit 70 mph or higher. It's completely fine at lower speeds, but as soon as I get on the highway and hit that 70-75 mph range, it’s like the whole car starts to wobble. Honestly, it feels like I’m driving on a roller coaster instead of a smooth road! 😂 I’ve heard it could be a problem with the tires being unbalanced or maybe the alignment is off. But could it be something more serious like the suspension or wheel bearings?
I’m hoping it’s just the tires since that seems like an easier fix, but I’m not exactly sure how to tell. Has anyone else had this issue with their Fusion? If so, what was the problem and how did you fix it? Should I take it to a mechanic or try to check the basics myself first?
Also, do you think it’s safe to keep driving like this, or should I avoid highway speeds until I figure it out?

Why does my Ford Fusion jerk when braking? |

So, my Fusion has been doing this weird thing lately—every time I brake, it jerks forward pretty hard, almost like it’s trying to perform some kind of dance move. It’s not a smooth stop at all; instead, it feels like the car suddenly lurches forward right before coming to a complete stop. The strange thing is that I replaced the brake pads not too long ago, so I’m confused as to why this is happening.
At first, I thought maybe the new pads just needed time to break in, but it’s been a few weeks now and the problem hasn’t gone away. Could it be the rotors? I haven’t checked them yet, but I’m wondering if they’re warped or uneven. I've also read that issues with the brake calipers or even the brake fluid could cause jerking, but I'm not sure how to diagnose that myself.
Has anyone else experienced this in their Fusion? What ended up being the cause? I don’t want to throw money at parts that aren’t the problem, so I’m hoping for some insight before I take it to the mechanic. Appreciate any advice or recommendations! Should I be worried about driving like this, or is it safe to wait a little longer?

What causes the at oil temp warning light in a Ford Fusion? |

So, yesterday while driving my Fusion, the at oil temp warning light popped up on the dash, and now I’m kind of worried. It happened out of nowhere, right after I had been stuck in traffic for about 30 minutes, crawling at a snail’s pace. At first, I thought it was a glitch because my car was running fine, but the light stayed on for the rest of the drive. No weird noises or jerking, but it’s definitely unsettling seeing that warning.
I know the at oil temp warning usually means the transmission oil is overheating, which doesn’t sound good at all. Could this be caused by sitting in traffic for too long, or is it something more serious? Should I pull over and let it cool down if it happens again? I’ve got an oil change scheduled for next month, but I’m wondering if this needs to be addressed sooner. I’ve read that ignoring transmission issues can lead to bigger problems down the road, and I definitely don’t want a costly repair bill!
Has anyone else had this warning light come on? What ended up being the problem, and how did you fix it? I’m hoping it’s just a quick fluid top-off or something simple like that. Any advice or insights would be really helpful!

Why did my Ford Fusion's steering wheel lock up while parked? |

Okay, so this freaked me out. I parked my Fusion in front of the store, went in for like five minutes, and when I came back out, the steering wheel was completely locked. I couldn’t turn it at all, and it wouldn’t even let me start the car. Talk about frustrating! I was standing there trying to jiggle the wheel and turn the key, but nothing worked.
After a bit of panicking and googling, I found out that it’s actually a pretty common issue with Fords, especially when the steering wheel gets turned a little before you park. Apparently, if the wheel locks at just the right angle, it can cause this problem. But seriously, has anyone else dealt with this? Is there a trick to unlocking it quickly? I tried turning the wheel while wiggling the key, but it took a lot of force before it finally gave in. I’d love to know if there’s an easier or faster way to get out of this jam!

Why does my steering wheel shake at low speeds in my Ford Fusion? |

Something really odd is happening with my Fusion. The steering wheel starts to shake like crazy when I’m driving at low speeds, especially around 10-30 mph. But as soon as I speed up and hit 40 mph or more, the shaking just stops and everything feels smooth. It seems totally backward to me! Usually, I’d expect issues like this at high speeds, not when I’m just cruising around town.
I’m thinking it might be an alignment issue, but I’m not 100% sure. I had the tires rotated not too long ago, and they don’t look worn out, so I’m ruling out an imbalance. Could it be something with the suspension, maybe a bad tie rod or control arm? I’m not too familiar with how those parts work, but I know they can cause steering problems. Anyone else run into this before? If so, what was the fix? Should I take it to a shop for an alignment check, or is there something simple I can try first? Appreciate any advice or suggestions!

Got a P0750 code on my Ford Fusion today. Transmission seems to shift fine, but that check engine light is staring me down. Anyone know how to fix this without paying a fortune at the shop?
