How many miles can a Ford Bronco last with proper maintenance?
#1
I’ve heard stories about Broncos hitting 300k miles or more, and I’m wondering how realistic that is. If I’m aiming to keep my Bronco on the road for as long as possible, what kind of maintenance should I be focusing on? I know regular oil changes and keeping an eye on fluid levels are important, but are there specific areas, like the transmission, suspension, or cooling system, that tend to need more attention as the miles rack up? Also, does the engine size make a difference in how long a Bronco can last? For example, will a 5.8L V8 generally last longer than the smaller engines? I’d love to hear from anyone who’s managed to keep their Bronco running well into the high mileage range—what kind of problems did you face, and how did you deal with them?
