I am trying to decide between the Firestone Destination XT and the KO2 for my truck. What do you guys think?
Oh man, I love the KO2s! They are fantastic off-road and also pretty decent on-road.
Ron, what terrain will you mainly be driving on? That can make a big difference in your choice.
If you're leaning towards mixed-surface driving, I'd pick the Firestone Destination XT. Great balance ?.
I've used both, to be honest. Destination XTs are superb for winter, while KO2s shine in tough off-road conditions.
Man, this topic again...? Been discussed like a hundred times? But, go with KO2s if yer off-roading!
Fun fact: My buddy had KO2s, and they saved him from getting stuck in deep mud a couple of times! Worth every penny, if you ask me.
Just a story here - I had the Destination XTs on my old truck, went on a cross-country adventure, climbed rocky hills, trekked through snowy trails, and never had an issue. Great all-around tires.
