Best Engine option for 2017 Ford Explorer? |

Is the engine in a 2017 Ford Explorer reliable? I’m thinking about buying a used 2017 model, but I’ve heard mixed opinions about the EcoBoost engines. For those who have owned this year’s Explorer, how has the engine performed over time? Are there any common issues I should watch out for before making a purchase?

If your Ford Explorer’s climate control system isn’t working correctly, performing a reset might solve the issue. Here’s a simple guide to help you reset the system:
- Turn Off the Engine: Start by turning off the engine and removing the key from the ignition.
- Turn the Ignition On: Insert the key and turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. This powers the vehicle's systems without running the engine.
- Press and Hold Climate Control Buttons: Locate the climate control buttons on your dashboard. Depending on your model, you may need to press and hold a combination of buttons, such as the A/C and recirculation buttons, for about 10-15 seconds. Refer to your owner’s manual for the exact combination required for your specific model.
- Wait for the Reset: The system may take a few moments to reset. You may notice the climate control screen flickering or the air vents adjusting during the reset process.'
- Test the System: Once the reset is complete, test the climate control system by adjusting the temperature and fan speed. Ensure that the system is responding correctly and that any previous issues are resolved.
If this process doesn’t resolve the issue, there may be a deeper problem requiring professional diagnosis. Always consult your owner’s manual for model-specific instructions or additional troubleshooting tips.

I’m working on my Ford Explorer’s transmission cooling system and could use some help finding a diagram for the cooling line routing. My model is a 2012 with the 3.5L engine. If anyone has a diagram or can point me in the right direction, it would be a big help. I want to ensure everything is correctly connected to avoid any overheating issues.

What size windshield wipers does a 2018 Ford Explorer need? |

I’m about to replace the windshield wipers on my 2018 Ford Explorer and want to make sure I get the correct sizes. From what I’ve gathered, the driver’s side usually takes a 26-inch wiper, while the passenger’s side uses a 22-inch. Can anyone confirm this? Also, does anyone have brand recommendations that work well for the Explorer?

Correct firing order for a Ford Explorer V6 engine? |

Does anyone have the correct firing order for a V6 Ford Explorer? I’ve been having issues with misfiring and suspect that the plug wires might be out of order. It’s a 2015 model if that helps. Any diagrams or advice would be greatly appreciated!
