Why does my Ford Fusion jerk when accelerating from a stop?

Lately, I’ve noticed that my Ford Fusion jerks when I accelerate from a complete stop. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it’s becoming more frequent. Could this be a transmission issue, or is it something simpler like bad spark plugs or fuel injectors? I’m open to any suggestions before taking it to the shop.
