Hey everyone, I need to swap out the starter on my 2010 Ford Edge but I can't seem to find the exact location. Any help please?
Hey Beth, the starter is located under the engineblock near the gearbox. You’ll have to get under and look toward the driver’s side. Hope that helps!
Pretty much what Gary said! And I’d recommend disconnecting the battery before you touch anything there ?
Totally manageable, Beth. Crawl under from the front and look behind/above the oil pan. If you squint just right, you’ll spot the starter between engine n transax)
Be sure you have a good jack or ramps. Safety first!
