Steering wheel locked up while parked: What could be the issue in a Ford Expedition?

I went to start my 2015 Expedition today, and the steering wheel was totally locked up while parked. Tried jiggling the wheel and turning the key, but no luck. Anyone know what could be causing this? I’ve heard it might be the ignition switch but looking for other ideas.
