Ugh, my '06 Ford Escape just threw a P0301 code today. It's for a misfire in cylinder 1. I noticed a rough idle, and the engine seems to be shaking a bit when I’m stopped at lights. Has anyone else had this code? What did you do to fix it? I’m thinking it could be a bad spark plug or ignition coil, but I’d love to hear what worked for you guys before I start throwing parts at it.
