My 2012 Ford Escape is throwing a PO171 code – System Too Lean (Bank 1). The car is idling rough, and I’m getting terrible fuel mileage lately. I’ve checked for vacuum leaks and cleaned the MAF sensor, but the code keeps coming back. Could it be something else? Is it worth checking the fuel injectors?
