Haha, yeah, Todd’s got it spot on about the Discoverer AT3. I had the Adventurer ATs for a bit and man, it felt like I was replacing them more often than getting my oil changed. They didn’t handle rough terrain well, and I noticed chunks of the tread tearing off after just a few weekend trips off-road.
Switched to the Discoverer AT3, and it’s been a night-and-day difference. Took ‘em through mud, sand, and rocky trails, and they still look fresh. Plus, they don’t howl like a wolf pack on the highway, which is a huge bonus if you hate road noise like I do. Only thing I’d say is keep an eye on the tire pressure—off-roading can take a toll if you’re not checking that regularly.
