Can low power steering fluid cause a Ford Bronco to stall?

Random question—could low power steering fluid make my Bronco stall? It happened twice when I was turning in a parking lot, and I noticed the steering was heavier than usual. Anyone else had this issue? Trying to avoid a trip to the shop if it’s something simple.
