When I had to replace the battery on my 2018 Ford Explorer, I found that it requires a Group 65 battery. That’s the size you’ll want to go with to make sure it fits properly and provides the right amount of power. Just double-check the cold cranking amps (CCA) to match the one that came with your vehicle, usually around 750-850 CCA depending on your model and where you live. It’s always a good idea to measure the space in your battery tray if you’re not getting it from a dealer, just to make sure everything lines up.
